The Health and Environmental Alliance addresses how the environment affects health in Europe

logo healHEAL, the Health and Environmental Alliance, is a consortium of health industry member groups that focus on health and the environment in the European Union. Their collaborative project Healthcare Without Harm aims to transform the healthcare industry, advocate for climate-friendly policies, and spread information about climate and public health.

Climate Protection: HEAL endeavors to reduce the carbon footprint of the healthcare industry and advocate for clean energy solutions Health, Well-being, and Safety: Acting on climate change promotes public health by reducing air pollution and limiting the spread of disease Connection: HEAL is bringing together the health sector to train and educate individuals and organizations to reduce their own emissions and to bring pressure on politicians to change environmental and energy policies
