“I have facilitated both the Game and Workshop using the En‑ROADS model for intimate groups of 10 employees and large conference audiences of 100+. Facilitating a successful En‑ROADS session creates a ripple effect. The feeling of having a cluster of people around me, sharing their reaction and asking me questions about how they might learn how to do this, and what else can they do, is one of the most enriching experiences I’ve felt in my career. When facilitator and participants are debriefing their En‑ROADS session, there is a real feeling of possibility. Andrew Greenspan is a sustainability professional in the financial services industry with focus on sustainable operations and sustainability risk. He has a passion for implementing solutions that reduce environmental impact and engaging and training employees and partners on the opportunities and risks relating to action (or inaction!) on climate change. His successes and interests are global. He first had his sustainability ‘spark’ in 2015 when he was knee deep in mud in the Mai Po marshes in Hong Kong, testing the soil for carbon content. The scientists at Hong Kong University lectured that evening about the important ecosystem services that mangrove forests provide. He has been excited about environmental solutions, both natural and technological, ever since. He received a Master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
