En-ROADS for Business: Inspiration and Conversation on Climate in the Age of Social Distancing

May 11, 2020 by Chris Page

Engaging the business sector to think about and act on climate change has never been easy. Now, more than ever, we need tools that help sustainability practitioners to engage company employees and corporate leadership in the age of social distancing.

En-ROADS can help to create interactive, inspiring virtual conversations about building a better future.

Companies are already using En-ROADS as part of their work on sustainability. In February, the En-ROADS climate workshop was the highest rated session out of 111 events at GreenBiz, a three-day annual gathering of over 1500 business leaders.

Companies are already using En-ROADS as part of their work on sustainability.  Kelly Fisher, head of corporate sustainability and Andrew Greenspan, vice president of sustainable operations for HSBC Bank USA, have facilitated workshops for senior HSBC leadership from the US and Europe.

In addition to HSBC, companies like PepsiCo and Cargill are using En-ROADS inside their organizations. You can hear about their work in our March 23 webinar, recorded here. The webinar drew participation from Genentech, Target, Costco, Engie, Amazon and many other leading companies. PepsiCO VP of sustainability Roberta Barbieri remarked, “En-ROADS lit my brain on fire.”

This wasn’t the first business-focused event for En-ROADS. Professor John Sterman of MIT Sloan introduced the simulator during Bloomberg’s New Economy Forum in Beijing last year, in a lineup that included Bill Gates.

We’re excited to help you use En-ROADS to engage and inspire your company and your networks. If you’re interested in learning more about it, let us know!
