Axios energy reporter Amy Harder wrote about our new Climate Change Solutions Simulation, En-ROADS, and appeared on Cheddar to discuss the model. Described by Amy as a “Choose Your Own Adventure” exercise, the simulation is the first of its kind specifically tailored to non-experts such as politicians or journalists. En-ROADS explores dynamics in global energy supply, land-use, transportation, carbon removal, and more. The simulation focuses on climate solutions and was designed to be shared with others.
While anyone who cares about climate change can unearth new insights through exploring the model, we hope that policy-makers will use the tool to better understand the challenges we face and the actions necessary to successfully curb climate change.
We created two interactive experiences that can be led with groups, the En-ROADS Climate Workshop and the Climate Action Simulation game, to accompany En-ROADS. Individuals interested in facilitating an experience should explore our training plan as well as register for our En-ROADS webinar series.
