The Inter-American Development Bank’s Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative works to address urban challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Initiative also tackles cities’ environmental footprint, social equity, access to transportation and public services, public safety, economic competitiveness, and more.
