American Cities, States, & More Commit to Paris Climate Goals
In the wake of President Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, hundreds of cities, states, tribes, counties, and universities have committed themselves to reducing CO2 emissions in line with the Paris Agreement’s goals to limit climate change. We are putting these commitments on the map.
How do these commitments add up to reducing overall US carbon emissions?
More than half of the US lives in an area that has committed to the Paris climate goals, representing about 40% of the United State’s carbon emissions.
