Resilience Based Decision Support in International Assistance and Development
We are collaborating with others on projects at the intersection of disaster resilience, humanitarian assistance, and development. Billions of dollars are invested each year in helping the most vulnerable people in the most vulnerable countries create better lives for themselves. In collaboration with partners like the Norwegian Refugee Centre, the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre, and International Alert, with funding from international donors and aid agencies, we are building decision support tools that help decision makers better understand how to prioritize those investments to build resilience.
We have three projects in this area:
Resilience to drought in the Horn of Africa
Resilience to flooding in Nigeria
Resilience to repeated displacement in the Democratic Republic of Congo
